DP World Kite Beach Fitness Village was a hub of activity throughout the 30 days, offering a diverse range of fitness opportunities.

From intense boxing sessions and energising spin classes to serene yoga practices and thrilling water sports, the village catered to all fitness levels and interests. Families and individuals embraced the community spirit, participating in daily free classes and trying out new activities. Kite Beach became the go-to destination for those seeking fitness, fun, and a lively atmosphere by the sea.

RTA Al Warqa’a Park 30x30 Fitness Village

Set within the expansive Al Warqa’a Park, the RTA Al Warqa’a Park Fitness Village provided an inclusive and dynamic fitness experience.

This village featured a Cycling Hub equipped with 75 bikes and on-site mechanics, ensuring participants could enjoy a seamless cycling experience. The village also included a Running Club, supervised children’s zones, and dedicated spaces for ladies and football enthusiasts. With multi-sport zones, fitness classes, and a welcoming environment, Al Warqa’a Park became a favourite spot for families and individuals to stay active during the challenge.

Dubai Municipality Zabeel Park 30x30 Fitness Village

As the official bib distribution hub for both the Dubai Run and Dubai Ride, the Zabeel Park Fitness Village served as a central point for fitness enthusiasts.

Its diverse zones included a Cricket Zone, a Running Club, a Spinning Zone, and a Kids Fitness Zone, offering activities for all ages and abilities. Participants also enjoyed stage performances and dance sessions, creating an engaging and vibrant fitness environment. This village brought people together in a dynamic celebration of health and wellness.

25 FITNESS HUBS ACROSS DUBAI

Dubai Fitness Challenge 2024 brought the city together with 25 Fitness Hubs, each offering free classes and activities tailored for all ages, abilities, and interests.

Participants enjoyed energising workouts and wellness activities across 25 Fitness Hubs. From sport fishing at Aqua Fishing Academy to outdoor sessions at Bluewaters, City Walk, and JLT, there was something for everyone. Creative classes took place at d3, while Danube Sports World and Gate Avenue (DIFC) offered high-energy indoor activities. Dubai Media City and the Athletic Caravan at Festival City added vibrant energy with tournaments, workshops, and demonstrations.

Outdoor enthusiasts flocked to Hatta Wadi Hub for hikes and wall climbing, while P&O Marinas combined water sports and yoga. Families loved The Ripe Market and The Beach JBR, while Dubai Digital Park, Expo City, and Global Village provided unique community experiences. Tilal Al Ghaf, Town Square, the four Wasl hubs, Zabeel Ladies Club, and Sustainable City offered diverse activities like yoga, boot camps, and martial arts, ensuring inclusivity for all.

Dubai Run presented by Mai Dubai

On 24 November, Dubai Run presented by Mai Dubai transformed Sheikh Zayed Road into a sea of runners for the world’s largest free fun run.

Over 287,000 participants came together, ranging from beginners and families to seasoned athletes. With two iconic routes—5km and 10km—this event celebrated inclusivity, making it accessible to all fitness levels and ages. Families enjoyed the vibrant energy of the 5km route, while experienced runners challenged themselves on the 10km track, all against the backdrop of Dubai’s stunning skyline. This massive event highlighted the city’s commitment to fitness and unity, bringing the community closer together.

 

Dubai Ride presented by DP World

On 10 November, Dubai Ride presented by DP World welcomed 37,130 cyclists to Sheikh Zayed Road, transforming it into a one-of-a-kind cycling track.

This year introduced the thrilling Speed Laps, offering participants a chance to push their limits on a dedicated high-speed section. Cyclists of all ages and abilities explored the 12km route, enjoying iconic views of the city’s landmarks, while families took on the fun and accessible 4km Downtown loop. This unique event brought people together for a memorable morning of cycling in the heart of the city.

Dubai Stand Up Paddle presented by RTA

Held at Hatta Dam, Dubai Stand Up Paddle presented by RTA showcased the versatility of fitness in Dubai.

With 2,330 participants taking part, the serene waters of Hatta provided the perfect setting for this unique activity. This year, free kayaking sessions were introduced, adding a new layer of excitement and accessibility. Whether participants were experienced paddlers or trying the sport for the first time, the event highlighted Dubai’s dedication to outdoor fitness and adventure.
