Train your way to the big 300km challenge
The 300km Al Marmoom Ultramarathon, the world’s longest desert marathon, is back for its second year running. If you’re up for the challenge, start training at the free build-up race arranged by the organisers to prepare for this testing and rewarding sporting experience.
The main event, which takes place from 9-13 December in Al Marmoom Conservation Reserve’s breathtaking landscape, welcomes hundreds of running enthusiasts from around the world to take on this test of endurance. The build-up races offer interested participants a feel of what the challenge requires and help them work up their stamina. The training sessions occur every week, with this second of four meets taking place on 25 October.
