The ultimate sports challenge for athletes
Passionate triathletes from all over the world will descend on Jebel Ali waterfront this November for the annual Dubai International Triathlon, a gruelling race that takes part in the middle of the Dubai Fitness Challenge. The triathlon will take place with the backdrop of Tri Fest 2018, a fun-filled celebration of sports with live music, exciting prizes, delicious food and entertainment for participants and spectators.
Enjoy thrilling action in the highly-competitive disciplines of swimming, running and cycling with three options for a broad spectrum of skill levels to join: Olympic, Sprint and Super sprint distances. The Olympic distances comprise of a 1500m swim, 40km bike ride and a 10km run. Take up the Sprint challenge and you’ll be doing a 750m swim, 20km bike ride and a 5km run. The Super Sprint category challenges participants to complete a 375m swim, a 20km bike ride and a 2.5k run.
There’s also something for younger competitors; the chance to take part in the Teeny Tiny Triathlon. Open to those aged 4 – 14, this rave involves a 100m swim, a 2.5km bike ride and a 500m run.
Sign up to receive a goody bag, medal, refreshments and professional timing. Race bib numbers will be published 36 hours prior to the start, and race bags will be made available on numbered bike racks from 05:45 on race day.
