Each of the units offer a range of fun fitness classes as well as chances to try out new sports and activities – and they’re all completely free.
There are three types of fitness units to address all interests and levels: Mobile Gym, Mobile Urban and Mobile Fitness. You can tailor-make your own workout at the Mobile Gym, which features weights, exercise equipment and a kids’ play area.
The Mobile Fitness unit offers half-hour exercise classes every 45 minutes, in everything from yoga and boxercise to Zumba and pilates, as well as fitness testing and circuit sessions. The Mobile Urban includes areas for football, tennis, BMX, skateboarding and parkour, with specialist coaches on hand.
All activities and classes are open to people of all ages and fitness levels, and there are prizes to be won each day. Attendees are recommended to wear appropriate sportswear and footwear and bring their own towels.
